Major: Business Administration
Lindsay Pilling, a Business Administration major, transferred to Southern Vermont College from the University of New Hampshire. As a work-study student in the College’s Admissions Office, Lindsay enjoys giving tours to prospective students and their families. By studying in the field of business management, she is interested in learning the managing aspects of owning her own business. Chair of The McCormick Division of Business and her instructor, Professor Eric Drouart, has helped her during team projects. Someday, Lindsay wants to manage a restaurant – possibly a diner style – as she has always loved to cook.
Lindsay loves Southern Vermont College and says, “Everyone is so helpful.” Her advice to other students who are considering going to college: “Start with it and seek help if needed. Don’t give up.”
She also enjoys hanging out with her friends – shopping or sitting by the fire-pit and listening to the music of Taylor Swift. One of her favorite expressions was one her grandmother used to say, “c'est la vie,” which means such is life. Lindsay looks forward to getting her degree here at SVC and letting the road take her where she wants to go.
