As a work-study student, I work in the SVC Admissions Office and in the campus shop. During my time here, I have also been involved in the Diversity Club and Student Activities Squad. I am also a Success Center tutor and have been on the Dean's List and Provost List. At the College's Honors Convocation, I received the Merchants Bank Scholarship and the Southern Vermont College Trustee's Scholarship.

Future Plans 

I plan to go to cosmetology school then open up my own spa and hair salon.

Life at SVC 

The people at SVC make this a fun campus; we have a close-knit community. We have a good setting and location. The professors know you as an individual, and there is a lot of encouragement to be involved on campus. Working at the campus shop is also a good exerience that I can relate to for marketing and advertising for my business major. A fun aspect of SVC is that the school often puts on a bunch of themed get-togethers such as an annual Halloween dance and St. Patrick's Day activities. I enjoy seeing home games while they are in season; it is also fun to travel with the team and show school spirit.
