Junior Cameron Maynard-Losh of Silver Spring, Maryland, has recently embarked on a semester abroad program in London, studying through The American Institute of Foreign Study (AIFS) at Richmond, the American International University of London, a not-for-profit, liberal arts school developed in 1972.

Cameron is a 22-year-old junior at Southern Vermont College, majoring in Psychology. In addition to classes through Richmond, Cameron will participate in an internship as part of his study abroad in London. “I have been lucky in my life to experience traveling to multiple countries and seeing vastly different cultures than my own,” Cameron said of his reason to pursue study abroad. “After I graduate, I plan on trying to take jobs overseas (whether the Peace Corps or some kind of teaching job), and my goal is to eventually live in another country. I like to look at this trip as sort of a test or practice to see if I would possibly like living in a different culture than my own.”
