Have We Got a Deal for New (and lapsed) Annual Fund Donors!!!

How Would You Like to Triple Your Money?!

Hey all you bargain-hunting coupon clippers! Here's a chance to lend your alma mater a hand, and get a great deal at the same time. An anonymous donor has offered to give $2,500 to the SVC Annual Fund if we can show that 250 new alumni donors have supported the program by December 31, 2011! Notice the charge is for number of new donors, not amount of money raised! And just to make it a little easier, the donor has agreed to include in the count any alumni who haven't made a gift in the past three years!

Why? Because heavy-hitter philanthropists want to know how many alumni support their college's Annual Fund! The more alumni support an institution has, the more money that institution is likely to get.

So how's this for an investment? Say you send us an Annual Fund gift of $5 (yes, we'll take more), and 250 of you do that before December 31, 2011, that adds up to $1,250! Our generous benefactor will then donate $2,500, so it's like tripling your gift! And when we report to those philanthropic Big Guns that we increased our alumni giving by 250 participants this year, who knows how much more your investment will grow!!!
