On the Move…

Jerry Van Loan '95 is a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Ulster County, NY.  On October 11, 2011, he obtained a guilty verdict in People vs. Jermaine Nicholas, a complex gang conspiracy/homicide case, which occured in Kingston, NY.  In his free time, Van Loan is a competitive darts player, ranked #1 in North America in 2010, and placing 12th in the World Darts Federation World Cup in Castlebar, Ireland in September, 2011! 

Maggie Burke '86 became the Executive Director of the VNA and Hospice of Southwestern Vermont Health Care right here in Bennington this past November.

Susan M. Dombrowski '90 has joined the Norwich, CT based CorePlus Federal Credit Union as Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

Sarah Yard '11 just couldn't bear to leave SVC, and has joined the Admissions team as Assistant Admissions Director!

Speaking of folks returning to the fold, SVC is delighted to announce that Zach Von Sternberg '07 has returned as Assistant Baseball Coach.

Adrienne Hamilton '10 is hitting the books again!  She's at UAlbany, working on her Master's dgree in Information Sciences/Library Studies.

And just in case you missed it...Chad Levesque '98 and Chris Davis '99 were inducted into the SVC Mountaineer Hall of Fame on October 1, 2011.

Those CJ guys!  Nick Holden '08 is the newest member of the Bennington Police Department.

Love is in the Air…

The Dubois family will be very busy for the next few months!  Matt Dubois '04 will wed Tami Maheux on March 10, 2012; and Dan Dubois '01 marries Rachel Lachat on July 7, 2012!  They should just buy tuxedos!

Jill Sheldon '02 is engaged to marry Jeffrey Morris.  An October 20, 2012 wedding is planned in Deltona, FL.

Apparently we missed mention of the August 2009 wedding of Jessica Chase '09, '11 and Derek Nagle '08.  More to come....
