academic research/nterests
I am engaged in an assessment of the "roving" faculty concept as a means of creating an interdisciplinary aspect across the SVC curriculum. I am also interested in online/distance learning, continuing professonal development, and geriatric pharmocotherapy.
Why I teach
I believe in "right livelihood." This means to me that I will devote myself to work that does no harm to others and benefits society. My teaching is primarily to students in the healthcare fields of nursing and pharmacy. My goal is to share my experiences and knowledge with my students in order to promote health and prevent harm to people who enter the healthcare system.

Favorite Book
There are too many great books, fiction and nonfiction, to have one favorite. My favorite book is usually the one I'm currently reading, which is A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.
Favorite film
Again, there are too many great movies, but I would have to say that I love The Sound of Music.
Best part of being at SVC
The friendly students, faculty and staff, the visionary administration, the beautiful location, and the sense of community.
