Why I teach
I love seeing the light go on that moment when a student not only understands a concept that has been presented but is able to articulate it and apply it in a meaningful way to a variety of situations.
Favorite Book
The Bible. It covers an incredible array of topics, including history, biographies, ethics, law, money management, morals, politics, project management, psychology, personal relationships and social structures all in one, comprehensive volume.
Favorite Movie
“Casablanca.” It is wonderful entertainment; the story behind its making is fascinating; it has great actors portraying rich characters with witty dialogue; and it is a powerful example of how individual self-sacrifice contributes to a greater cause.
Best part of being at SVC
The best part is being able to teach in a small, collegial environment where the faculty, staff and students strive to contribute to the colleges success and to each others.
