Registrar

Permanent academic records for all students are maintained in the Registrar's Office as well as course schedules and final exam schedules. A report of grades is sent to each student at the end of each semester or session unless the college is requested to send it elsewhere. Additional academic and administrative forms are available for downloading.

Office Hours

The Registrar's Office at Southern Vermont College is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and located in Room 205 of the Everett Mansion.

Application for Graduation

Download the Application for Graduation form. Return the form to the Registrar's Office by October 15 for December graduation or by February 28 for May or August graduation (for students wishing to attend Commencement). Students may apply for August graduation until August 2. If the application is not submitted by the deadlines(s) above, there will be a late filing fee of $25 assessed. Graduation fee is $125. Fee must be paid at time of application.

Transcripts

Transcript requests must be in writing. Please include signature and date requested. Transcript form available online.

Transfer Agreements

Transfer Agreements: Southern Vermont College has transfer agreements with a number of community colleges and graduate schools. Students who plan to transfer to SVC can select courses which will allow them to transfer credits into the corresponding programs and meet the curriculum requirements as possible. Students will need to seek academic advising prior to being able to register for classes online. All student registration will be blocked until cleared by an academic advisor.

Cross Registration

Southern Vermont College is member of the Hudson Mohawk Association of Colleges and Universities (a consortium of 19 colleges and universities). Full-time matriculated students may take courses offered at a member institution. For more information: Cross Registration
