Registrar
Permanent academic records for all students are maintained in the Registrar's Office as well as course schedules and final exam schedules. Additional academic and administrative forms are available for downloading.
Office Hours
The Registrar's Office at Southern Vermont College is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and located in Room 205 of the Main Building
Application for Graduation
Download the Application for Graduation form. Return the form to the Registrar by October 1 for December graduation or by January 27 for May or August graduation (for students wishing to attend Commencement). Students may apply for August graduation until August 1. If the application is not submitted by the deadlines(s) above, there will be a late filing fee of $25 assessed.
Transcripts
Transcript requests must be in writing. Please include signature and date requested. Transcript form available online.
Transfer Agreements
Transfer Agreements: Southern Vermont College has transfer agreements with a number of community colleges and graduate schools. Students who plan to transfer to SVC can select courses which will allow them to transfer credits into the corresponding programs and meet the curriculum requirements as possible. Online Registration
Online registration is now available for advising and student use at Online Registration: SVC Scholar Portal. A login box will open.Student usernames are 1st initial and up to 8 characters of his or her last name. Password is 1st 4 characters of last name plus last 4 of ssn. For example, John Dowitiwitz ssn: 000-00-9999 becomes Username: jdowitiwi and Password: dowi9999.
After logging in, students will be able to see the courses available for registration and enter their course selection. After selections are made, the advisors will be able to approve or disapprove selections. After approval, the Registrar will do the actual enrollment according to the published dates.
Cross Registration
Southern Vermont College is member of the Hudson Mohawk Association of Colleges and Universities (a consortium of 19 colleges and universities). Full-time matriculated students may take courses offered at a member institution. For more information: Cross Registration
