The Culture and climate of Southern Vermont College is one of safety, respect, emotional and academic support. As no institution of higher learning is problem free, SVC intends to address problems that are raised on our Campus prior to them becoming serious. Further, recognizing that peers are among the first to observe problems occurring with their friends, SVC has created this Concerned at SVC page in order to share concerning behavior – and provide assistance, before it is too late.
Are you worried about a student in your class or concerned that your roommate has been acting differently or about the behavior of your friend? Do you have concerns, but you are not sure what to do? If so, contact Concerned at SVC by completing this online form.
Please complete the following form in its entirety. Questions marked with an asterisk (*) are required fields. Information on this form will be viewed within 24 hours by the Dean of Students office and other student service areas when applicable. Confidentiality will be exercised in accordance with college policy. If you have questions, please contact the Dean of Students Office at 802-447-6323.
|Cases that present an immediate threat to self, others, or significant property should be considered an EMERGENCY and should be directed to Campus Safety by calling 802-447-4001 or 802-384-1648.|
