Orientation
Expand Your Possibilities:
Making Connections to Last a Lifetime
It's important to transition into your Southern Vermont College experience with the right information and the right support. We want to help you make this transition as seamless as possible. Therefore, we require all incoming students to participate in the New Student Orientation program prior to the start of their first semester. During Orientation, you will have the opportunity to settle in, ask questions, meet your classmates, staff and faculty, learn about your academic program, discover student life at SVC and familiarize yourself with our beautiful campus! Our goal is to prepare you to begin your SVC education.
Orientation can make the difference between a difficult start and a great start to your college experience. The staff and faculty at Southern Vermont College are committed to making your start a great one. Fall 2010 Orientation will take place on Friday, August 27 - Sunday, August 29, 2010, classes begin on Monday, August 30. For questions regarding Orientation, please call the Dean of Students Office at 802-447-6323.
